Bastille was introduced Stateside last summer with intimate, sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ Troubadour and San Francisco’s Popscene. In the past year, the band has completed three sold-out runs here and scored a multi-format smash hit with its debut single, “Pompeii,” which has sold nearly three million downloads.

The band, which is currently on tour in the U.S., will perform on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on June 3.

"Bad Blood," Bastille’s debut album, entered the albums chart at No. 1 in the U.K., where it closed out 2013 as the biggest selling debut album and the biggest selling digital album. It has sold more than 750,000 units in the U.S. The band, which was named an MTV 2014 “Artist to Watch,” has received a BRIT Award (British Breakthrough Act) and a Woodie Award (Best Cover).

“Pompeii” topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart for four straight weeks and the Adult Alternative Songs chart for two weeks. It has spent more than 35 weeks on The Hot 100, where it’s currently in the Top 10. The track is certified 4x Platinum in Australia and New Zealand, double Platinum in the U.S. and Italy and Platinum in the U.K. and Belgium. The video for “Pompeii,” which can be seen here, has more than 90 million views.
